The publicly listed Miramar Group is hiring a purchase officer to assist the purchase manager and supervise three executives in the department.
The group's operations, which include hotels, property development, food and beverage, and travel services, are expanding fast. The group has eight hotels and serviced apartments, and 12 top-quality restaurants in the mainland, Hong Kong and overseas.
The ability to meet the needs of these restaurants is of utmost importance, according to the group's human resources manager, Heinsen Chan.
'The candidate should have experience in purchasing [good] quality food items for high-end Chinese restaurants,' he said.
The person will be required to handle purchasing of a high volume of items.
