A good facial cleanser is vital for removing oil, dirt and traces of makeup. A foaming cleanser is best for oily complexions, while creamy cleansers are suited for dry skin. Gently massage a small amount into skin without pulling downwards. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser ($220/ 150ml)
A feather-light cleansing foam. One squirt is all you need. Lightly scented and claims to help prevent dry skin.
Apivita Antispot Cleansing Milk ($190/ 150ml)
Contains natural ingredients, such as fruit acids and exfoliating jojoba grains. Claims to remove dead skin cells, impurities, dirt and makeup while whitening skin. But the exfoliating grains are a bit rough and cause stinging.
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap ($155/ 200ml)
This gel cleanser gently washes dirt and oil from dry to normal skin without stripping moisture. But it has an unpleasant chemical smell and those with very oily skin may need to wash twice.
