The Designjet 8000s Printer is the second product developed under an alliance between Hewlett-Packard and Seiko I Infotech. Available later this year, the 1,626mm-wide printer is designed for a range of large-format, outdoor graphics applications - from small signs to banners. The low-solvent device can print 88 square feet of vivid colour output per hour at 720x720 dots per inch. Like the earlier Designjet 9000s Printer series, the 8000s Printer will feature the 'HP low-solvent' printing system. This includes low-solvent ink formulations, ink cartridges and convenient cleaning and maintenance kits, enabling print service providers to produce durable prints in a safe and efficient way.
