Sleep is very important. I read that a teenager should sleep for eight or nine hours a night. Many of my classmates only get a few hours' sleep.
Some say that going to bed early is a waste of time or they don't have enough time for their homework. They need better time management, like spending less time hanging around with friends after school.
Lack of sleep leads to many problems. My brain doesn't function as well, and I also get depressed and easily annoyed when I'm tired.
I always go to sleep before 11pm, even when I have a test the next day. I would rather be having a nice dream than worrying about a test!
