A hotel group with a heritage dating back to 1865 is opening its doors for a brand builder who thinks unconventionally.
Langham Hotels International is hiring a director of brand communications to help build its brands.
The hotel group has six properties with more than 2,700 rooms in five gateway cities across four continents, including two in Hong Kong.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in managing a communication function at the corporate or regional level.
The job involves changing the public's perception of Mongkok as a place unsuitable for five-star hotels.
'We are looking for someone who dares to break through the status quo,' said Sharon Cheng, group director of human resources.
The ideal candidate will be an articulate manager with an excellent track record in brand development and communication strategies. The person should be able to drive brand awareness in the local and global market.
