I wear jeans and a jacket every day. Comfort and elegance are  key.   Heels are a must - they give me a little oomph for the day.

What do you always wear?

My wedding band.

Fashion no-nos?

Never wear tops or dresses that are too low or skirts that are too high. When you're over 30, age- appropriate dressing is a must.

Handbag pick for this season?

B. Romanek  crocodile clutch in red or white.

Favourite shoe designer?

Christian Louboutin.

Must-have accessory?

A sense of humour.

Most cherished fashion item?

A red and gold maharajah coat from my mum's closet.

Who would design your  Oscars dress?

Karl Lagerfeld.

Style icons?

Charlize Theron,  Jennifer Aniston  and Monica Belucci  - all are glamorous and elegant.

Most expensive fashion item?

A Herve Leger Couture  evening gown bought 10 years ago in Paris.

Your fashion style?

I try to remain casual, feminine and  a bit edgy at all times.

Boho or lady-like?

Neither. If in doubt, always opt  for the feminine and lady-like.

Flats or stilettos?

Cute ballerina flats from Chloe,  Lanvin  and Chanel,  or sky-high heels from Christian Louboutin   or Jimmy Choo.

High-end or high street?

Both. If Karl Lagerfeld can design for H&M, I can wear it!

Fashion disaster?

When the train of my Versace gown got caught in the escalator on my way to a black-tie dinner   at the Landmark. I ended up with a huge oil stain on  it.

Favourite designer?

Phoebe Philo  when she designed for Chloe, Alber Elbaz  for Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana.

Favourite shopping destinations?

I shop everywhere I go.

Favourite spring trend?

As I'm entering  my seventh month of pregnancy, I love  the babydoll tops and ballerina flats that are in this season.
