Self-righteous

AS Hong Kongers, we are all for promotion of kindness for and appreciation of animals, both wild and domesticated.

However foreign pressure groups such as the International Fund for Animal Welfare and Zoocheck, should take note and realise that while constructive suggestions are very welcome, any forms of smearing, exaggeration, distortion, insult, and hostility are unacceptable and should be categorically rejected. They must guard against pretending and acting as self-appointed and self-righteous overlords, granting themselves unlimited licence to discredit and to offend.
