Take forward HR policies for leading hotelier

A well-established hotel is opening its doors to an experienced human resources professional.

The New World Renaissance Hotel is looking for a human resources officer with at least two years of relevant experience in the HR or hotel industry. The HR officer will help formulate and implement personnel policies and programmes.

Candidates should be sociable, energetic and approachable, and enjoy the recruitment and selection process.

The successful candidate should be able to promote and build the hotel's unique service and culture.

'We have created a culture supporting etiquette that is crisp, attentive and respectful. There is great emphasis on services that make guests feel recognised and create special touches,' said HR manager Emil Leung Chung-shing.

The HR officer will also help deliver orientation programmes to all new associates before they begin their jobs. Additional duties include organising recreational activities such as ball game competitions and outings, co-ordinating with charities to organise community service events and delivering career talks at schools.
