polyu inventions win awards

Polytechnic University has won three gold medals, three silver medals, and two special awards at the 34th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products in Geneva. Its award-winning innovations include a self-cleaning garment, a palm-print security system and radio-based remote medication dispensing system.

10 scholarships to indiana

nobel laureates coming to hk

Five Nobel Laureates  will take part in the fifth Sun Hung Kai Properties distinguished lectures held by Chinese University at the Grand Hyatt in Wan Chai on May 22 and 23, which are open to the public. They are Professor Robert J Aumann and Professor Thomas C Schelling, joint 2005 laureates in economic sciences, Professor Robert A Mundell, 1999 economic sciences laureate, Professor Samuel CC Ting, 1976 laureate in physics, and Professor Kurt Wuthrich, 2002 laureate in chemistry.

CORRECTION

In the  article 'Knowledge for the real world' in the Executive and Professional Education supplement on April 22 the name of the director of Polytechnic University's Graduate School of Business name was  incorrectly reported. Her name is Judy Tsui.
