Elvis' first home is for sale on eBay, but the price is so high even his own estate managers won't buy it
It may not be Graceland, but 1034Audubon Drive, Memphis, Tennessee, is still a shrine to the king of rock 'n' roll, and it could be yours at the click of a mouse.
In 1956, at the age of 21, Elvis Presley bought this four-bedroom bungalow with royalties from the release of Heartbreak Hotel. It was the first home he bought and it is now on sale through eBay.
Elvis moved out 13 months after buying the property. Since then, a series of reverential owners have carefully maintained much of what he installed, ranging from a trophy cabinet to acoustic tiling in the recording studio.
The original swimming pool, pool house and bungalow extension built by Elvis remain.
Stephen Shutts, a joint owner of the 3,000 sqft home said: 'Naturally we would love to see an Elvis fan who is financially qualified buy and preserve the property to its fullest.
