Hong Kong Space Museum

General information

The museum, opened in October 1980, was the first of its kind in Hong Kong and

was aimed at promoting astronomy and space science among the public. It has two thematic exhibition halls - the Hall of Space Science and the Hall of Astronomy - with mostly interactive exhibits. Each year, the museum produces two multimedia shows and screens the popular Omnimax films at its unique Space Theatre.
