Arif Ali scored a hat-trick as Hong Kong rebounded from their earlier defeat by Oman to thrash old rivals Singapore 3-1 in their Asian Games qualifying campaign in Dhaka, Bangladesh yesterday. Arif struck in the first half from a penalty corner and added another two goals in the second half to lift the SAR to their second victory of the tournament. Hong Kong lost to Oman 5-4 over the weekend having begun their campaign by thrashing Iran 4-1 last week. Hong Kong have now collected six points from three games and have an excellent chance to collect maximum points again when they meet Sri Lanka in their next match today.
