The Mind Your Head shows return next weekend to the Warehouse, with a solid line-up of established and new local talent.
Sandwiched on the bill are the latest punk rock kids on the block, Sexy Hammer (above). The foursome have been working hard and have won a strong following among teenagers who shy away from the mainstream scene.
Sexy Hammer - singer and guitarist Law Hoi-on, guitarist Chau Chi-tat, bassist Tse Wai-chiu and drummer Chung Yiu-wing - have been making a lot of noise for a band that have been playing together for a little more than a year. 'We met through hanging around band rooms, through ICQ and MSN,' says Law. 'We all shared a love of old-school punk rock and heavy metal, so it made sense that we'd join up and play together. We chose the word sexy because we like sexy girls, and hammer represents our love of heavy metal.'
