Hair care: 'I have thick hair that often gets spiky so I use Bumble and Bumble hair cream to flatten it down without giving it too much sheen.'
Skin care: 'I only really use Shu Uemura products. The moisturiser is great.'
Clothes: 'I like expensive clothes but I don't have much of a style. I tend to wear Japanese jeans, such as Eternity, and mix and match with Comme des Garcons, plus a smattering of Dior Homme. I also have a thing for cashmere sweaters by Clements Ribeiro.'
Car: a 1974 Mercedes.
Favourite holiday destination: The Philippines. 'It's paradise island. My wife, Suzanne, is really into world trips so we often take those together. This July, we're heading to Florida and the Bahamas.'
Most valued possession: 'I don't really have one item I value most. I like lots of things, but I suppose if my house was on fire, I'd grab my wife and son.'
What do you always take on a flight: 'A book. I read constantly. I'm currently reading One Million Pieces, by James Frey.'
Never leave home without: 'My mobile phone, of course.'
On your bedside table: 'Piles of books.'
What is always in your fridge: 'I'm very health conscious so fresh vegetables and Greek yogurt. I'm obsessed with what I eat but I rarely exercise.'
