His name may not be familiar in Hong Kong, but British hairdresser Mark Hill hopes that will change with the launch of his hair care product range in the territory.
The British stylist has a considerable fan base among celebrities in his home country and in the United States, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock all said to be fans of his knack with the scissors and the performance of his products.
Two years ago, after 20 years in the industry and five years in the making, the stylist launched his eponymous Mark Hill Hair Cosmetics. And now they have arrived in Hong Kong.
The collection is made from ingredients that include honeyquat, bamboo fern and silk extracts, which the stylist says provide pure and effective solutions to hair problems.
The line is categorised to treat different hair problems, from frizz and heat damage to colour fading, hydration and intensive conditioning products.
The De-Frizz Shine Serum ($135) is the most popular product in Britain and Australia, where the products have an established market.
