Students from the Arts College of the South China Agriculture University in Guangzhou model designs created by graduating students of Polytechnic University's Institute of Textiles and Clothing yesterday at the annual PolyU Fashion Show.
Twenty-four graduating students showcased wardrobes, including designs by Ayako Cheung (top), Eugenie Li Wai-yan (left) and Effie Hung Siu-hung.
They each presented a collection of six outfits to compete for 13 awards, including best marketability, fabrication and best casual wear. The setting and stage design of the fashion show were based on the theme 'Contemporary Chineseness'.
Judges for the event included renowned Italian designer Nino Cerruti, who served as chief judge, and Hong Kong designers including Silvio Chan, Ruby Li and Walter Ma.
