Very angry tenants of Tregunter: do exactly what the vast majority of multi-cultural Hong Kong wants: do not disturb us anymore! If you don't like it, please leave. Don't ruin the reputation of the hospitable local community which graces Hong Kong with its openness to and acceptance of foreigners. GEORGE DEDEN Discovery Bay AS A successful multi-cultural, multi-ethnic society, Hong Kong potentially has a lot to teach the world about racial harmony. Accordingly, when this success is threatened, as it is by the blatant racism at Tregunter Towers, you do us a service by puttingthe issue where it belongs: on the front page (Sunday Morning Post, December 5).

However, you were perhaps over-hasty in identifying the targets of the intimidating note as ''amahs'', for nowhere did it mention they were Filipino domestic helpers. The targets are clearly foreigners, for they are requested to ''go back to your country'' - but the only actual ''servants'' who live at Tregunter are surely civil servants. In any case, it is to be hoped they will not allow themselves to be bullied into using the service lift.
