You are only a somebody when you have a satirical comic book named after you in the tradition of Silly Old Tung and Broomhead Ip. Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen may have moved into Government House, but the real proof he has finally arrived has just come out: Sir Donald - the Bow has come!
The $40 book has made it in time for today's 'I-am-mad-about-everything-in-Hong Kong' march. The book promises to reveal Mr Tsang's most intimate thoughts. These include his definition of the word 'empathy'.
'I feel the people of Hong Kong and I have gotten to know each other very well - I have published my thoughts, my daily routines, what makes me happy or sad, on the government website. People should be able to see things my way. This is why I feel very close to them. In my eyes, Hong Kong people are practical, smart and know which way the wind blows. Or at least these are the ones after my own heart.'
