Police arrest man in connection with murder of 53-year-old

Updated at 1.48pm: Police said on Tuesday said they had arrested a man in connection with the murder of a 53-year-old man in Tseung Kwan O.

A spokesman said police had received a report about 10pm on Monday that an injured person was found in Sheung Shun House, Sheung Tak Estate.

Officers later located the 53-year-old with head injuries on the podium of the fourth floor of the block.

The man was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital, but was certified dead at 2.30am on Tuesday.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at a unit in Sheung Shun House in connection with the case.

The spokesman said the man was being detained for inquiries on Tuesday.
