Suspect held after injured man dies
A 48-year-old man has been arrested as police investigate the death of a man in Tseung Kwan O. The 53-year-old victim was found injured on Monday night and died in hospital early yesterday. The man was found with head injuries on the fourth-floor podium of Sheung Shun House in Sheung Tak Estate. He was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital and certified dead shortly before 2.45am. A man was arrested in the same building.

Health minister York Chow Yat-ngok appealed to the media to allow his family and relatives privacy to take care of his father after receiving queries about why he had been admitted to the first-class ward of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His press secretary said the health chief's father was a retired civil servant and admission arrangements were made in accordance with procedures for retired civil servants.
traffic chaos in tunnel
Traffic was disrupted when a collision inside the Cross Harbour Tunnel forced the closure of one of the Hong Kong-bound lanes. The accident, involving a motorcycle and a car, occurred shortly before 10am. The right-hand lane was closed, causing long queues stretching back almost to Kowloon Tong.
