Recent movies about cats - including Cat Woman - have been bad enough to turn the milk sour.

Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, a sequel to the original Garfield: The Movie in 2004, may not be so brilliant that it keeps the audience entertained for 80 minutes, but it does have some sweet moments of comedy that many younger children will enjoy.

The story starts with Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer) trying to propose to his veterinarian girlfriend Liz (Jennifer Love Hewitt). But lasagne-loving orange cat Garfield (voiced by Bill Murray) doesn't like that idea and sabotages Jon's plans for a romantic evening.

Jon then flies to London to see Liz who is attending a conference, so he can propose a second time. Garfield hides himself in Jon's luggage.

Through a contrived series of plot twists, Garfield - in a case of mistaken cat identity with his look-alike called Prince - inherits an enormous fortune and ends up ruling a castle.

But his lofty status is jeopardised as the next heir to the fortune, Lord Dargis (Billy Connolly), shows up and starts plotting a catastrophic end for both Garfield and Prince.
