Ho draws big names

The Tao Ho Foundation was launched with an auction and dinner at the Convention Centre attended by some of the city's most prominent personalities.


Tao Ho suffered a stroke in 2002 and is still convalescing, but his friends and family are determined to bring more of his work as a planner, architect, designer and artist to the public.


Some of his paintings were auctioned on the night and his daughter, Noelle Ho Ying, opened proceedings with a heart-warming speech. It was followed by comments from Executive Council convenor Leung Chun-ying, David Akers-Jones and legislator Patrick Lau Sau-shing, all of whom are advisory board members.


Other guests included Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam- kuen, Allan Zeman, Rosa Ho Lok So-fun, housing chief Michael Suen Ming-yeung, watchmaker Philippe Charriol and commentator Chip Tsao.
