preparation course for english test
The British Council and Hong Kong Community College have announced plans to run a course preparing the college's first-year students for the International English Language Testing System. The partnership is the first of its kind in Hong Kong.
The course, which will start in September and be spread over 24 hours, is free and optional for new students entering the college, an affiliate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The British Council will develop the syllabus and teaching material while the college will provide venues and facilities.

City University of Hong Kong has launched an online magazine to make developments at the university available to secondary students. It is the first tertiary institution in Hong Kong to run a webzine for secondary students.
