Hong Kong's popular homegrown theme park is looking for two creative costume management professionals to play a leading role in the concept development of shows and events.
Ocean Park needs a new wardrobe manager and wardrobe supervisor to be responsible for the organisation and planning of all wardrobe related activities.
This includes the design, procurement, inventory management and distribution of the park's uniforms for more than 1,000 full- and part-time staff.
The other core duty area is the design, production, inventory distribution, cleaning and maintenance of all entertainment and show costumes.
'The wardrobe manager and wardrobe supervisor are key members of the concept development team for all new show projects, as well as Ocean Park's mega-seasonal events,' said Todd Hougland, senior events and entertainment manager.
The duties are similar for both positions and the final decision and allocation of roles will be determined by the applicant's experience. Candidates should have a university degree with a focus on fashion design and buying. Ideally, they should also have theatrical costuming design and production experience with a minimum six years of management experience.
Due to the nature of the work, it is also important to be a fun loving and energetic person who is willing to try new things.
