The Hong Kong branch of the world's largest home furnishing chain store is looking for someone capable, friendly and patient to take on the responsibilities of a restaurant supervisor.
The successful candidate will be joining the 750-strong workforce of IKEA Hong Kong.
The IKEA business in Hong Kong was launched in 1975, and in 2002 the company was acquired by the Dairy Farm Company. IKEA Hong Kong is renowned for its quality products and high values and standards.
'We have values that create a sense of belonging and an environment in which everyone is made to feel part of the team,' said Cherie Wong, IKEA's personnel services manager.
The company's employees can expect to receive professional retail training in the knowledge that there is plenty of room for personal development.
Whoever is recruited to this post will oversee the daily operations of the IKEA Swedish restaurant and bistro.
'He or she has to provide support with food and beverage selection and ordering, price setting, stock control, staff recruitment, manpower rostering and administrative duties,' Ms Wong said.
