I've read his books, such as Pourquoi and Sound of Colours, but I didn't like them.   They only have simple drawings with very few words. I first  heard about Jimmy Liao's work at the age of 11, but I don't really like them now. A lot of people think his comics are cute - I think he's just trying too hard.

I've read a lot of his books. My best friend and I learned about him when we were 11 and I've been a loyal fan ever since. His characters are very cute and the stories have educational themes and highlight moral values. The drawings, especially the scenery, are great, too. I like his books because they have a lot of details  and inspire you to think.

I haven't read his books and I don't intend to.   I don't like books at all ... they just don't interest me, not even picture books like Liao's.  I've heard of him because my friends like his books and have recommended a few to me.

No,  because none of my friends read them. He's not very famous in my school and not many students have heard about him. I've flipped through some of his work. His drawings look nice, although not very cute. I've heard that his stories have profound meanings.

Yes, I've read a couple, including Paradise Lost. I also regularly visit  Liao's  homepage. I  like his unique style and his drawings are delightful,  but I don't care much for his stories. I heard of him a few years ago when one of my classmates introduced me to his books.  But I haven't seen the movies based on his stories.
