Swire puts Vientiane on the tourist track

A three-day, two-night package to the Laotian capital Vientiane is being offered by Swire Travel.

Prices start from HK$3,690 and include a return flight via Bangkok, breakfast, airport transfers and accommodation at one of five hotels, including the Novotel Vientiane.

Rates for additional nights start from HK$450 for the Novotel but vary according to the hotel. Flight surcharges (HK$150 per adult, HK$120 per child) apply on certain flights until the end of next month.

Private half and full-day tours to sites in and around the capital can be arranged from HK$170 per person (conditions apply), which includes a boat ride on the Nam Ngum Lake, kayaking in the Nam Lik River and a city tour.
