Updated at 6.51pm: A 54-year-old dump truck driver was killed and a 42-year-old man injured in a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan on Monday morning.
A police spokesman said the dump truck had collided with a container trailer.
?At about 11.15am, a dump truck driven by the 54-year-old man was travelling along Kowloon-bound Tsing Long Highway,? the spokesman said.
?When the truck reached Ting Kau Bridge, it collided with a container trailer travelling along the next lane.?
The spokesman said that after hitting the container trailer, the dump truck crashed into a central road divider. It then bounced back along the road?s surface.
A medium-goods vehicle travelling behind attempted to avoid colliding with both vehicles. But it was rammed by a light-goods vehicle following behind.
