Get A Life - Eason Chan Live in Hong Kong
Don't listen to this album just before bed, because you are likely to get so excited you won't be able to sleep. You won't be able to resist singing along as if you are one of the audience at Chan's Get A Life Concert 2006.
I never used to think much of Chan's music, but after hearing this 38-track, 3-CD box set, I'm now a fan.
Chan is often compared to Robbie Williams. Both of them have great voices and honest, thought-provoking lyrics. But Chan's songs are more lively and relevant to Hongkongers.
The concert starts from a crazy overture, then Chan and his band move from rap songs to slow romantic tunes. From Bicycle to the latest McDonald's theme song, you'll recognise Chan's many hits.
If you didn't go to his concert, this release gives you the chance to experience what it was like being there. And at less than HK$200, it's good value too.
