Popular handbag maker Anya Hindmarch was in town to open her new store in Harbour City, and her many fans had their purses out and open, literally. The society ladies weren't just buying up her fashionable accessories, but asking the British designer to sign them - mostly on the inside lining. One such fan on Tuesday was singer Fiona Sit Hoi-kei who arrived with her own tailor-made bag for Hindmarch to autograph. The British designer is known for allowing clients to bring in their own pictures and having the image imprinted on their accessory. Sit's tote features a baby picture of herself. 'Anya is like my design idol,' the singer said. 'My favourite is the line where you can put your own picture on it. It's really creative and requires precise craftsmanship to make the picture blend into the bag perfectly. Other labels try to copy her, but most of them look quite ugly.' Wow, you can't buy a stronger endorsement than that.
