Edward Bock

Mr Bock will be in charge of the Hong Kong operations of the Cesar Group's East Asia  business. Fawn Eye is a subsidiary of the group, which deals in toys and costumes for festive occasions. He will oversee the buying office, supply chain management and  growth. Previously, Mr Bock was commercial director at International Greetings Asia, a publicly listed group in Britain  that produces seasonal greetings and gifts products.

Bonita Leong

Vice-president, marketing and finance, individual financial products

Manulife (International)

Ms Leong has made a significant actuarial  and product marketing contribution to Manulife operations in Hong Kong and the  region. In her expanded role, she will continue to be pricing officer for the  company's individual financial products business and its wealth management business.  She will also oversee  marketing, product design, product portfolio management and training.

Monika Federau

Assistant vice-president, regional development, Asia

Manulife Financial

Ms Federau will be  responsible for supporting a range of development initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, alternative distribution and wealth management, among others. She will work with Manulife's regional and territory teams to devise strategic marketing programmes for selected wealth management products and targeted customers.  She started her insurance career in product development, sales and marketing.

Eric Chang

Senior vice-president and international director of contemporary Asian art

Christie's

Based in Hong Kong, Mr Chang will direct contemporary Asian art sales worldwide and work closely with the respective heads of each department. Mr Chang will  play a key role in managing the inclusion of Asian contemporary art in  international  art sales in New York and London. He is an  expert in contemporary Asian art and has been instrumental in its tremendous market growth.

Roy Lam

Director of human resources

Mandarin Oriental,  Hong Kong

Mr Lam joins Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong from the group's corporate team where until recently he held the position of director of learning and development, Asia. He has wide experience in human resource management roles in multinational companies.  His experience in supporting the launch of sister hotels in Washington DC, Tokyo and Thailand will be invaluable to the reopening of the team.

Mervyn Tam

Director of sales - leisure

Mr Tam joins Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong from Shangri-La hotels, where, until recently, he held the position of director of business development - travel trade at the company's Kowloon property. Before that he held managerial sales roles at the InterContinental Grand Stanford, the Harbour Plaza and The Ritz-Carlton. His introduction to the hospitality industry was at Hotel Primerose au Lac  in Switzerland.

Glenn Schloss

Corporate communications director for Asia-Pacific

Hill & Knowlton

Mr Schloss, Hong Kong-based north Asia director for corporate communications, will step up to lead the company's corporate communications practice across Asia-Pacific. A senior consultant and former award-winning journalist, he takes over responsibilities previously overseen by Vivian Lines, president and chief operating officer of Hill & Knowlton Asia-Pacific. He is an experienced counsellor to blue-chip multinationals.
