Youths slashed by knife-wielding men

Six youngsters, including a 12-year-old boy, were attacked by seven knife-wielding men at the Dawn Society youth centre at Lee Tsui House, Wan Tsui Estate, Chai Wan, about 11.30pm on Monday. The attack happened hours after one of the victims, a 21-year-old man, had a dispute with suspected triad members, police said. The six youths were watching TV when the men rushed in and attacked them. The attackers, aged 20 to 30, fled before police arrived. All six victims were taken to Eastern Hospital, where the 21-year-old was in a serious condition with injuries to his forehead and limbs. The others were in stable condition.
