A CLEANER smashed a bottle over a colleague's head shortly after they had a row over litter at a flower shop, the District Court heard yesterday. Prosecuting counsel Hui Ka-ho offered no evidence against Wu Kui-pang after police made an abortive attempt to find the victim, technician Yuen Siu-fung, 36. The court was told that Wu and Mr Yuen were both employees of a North Point flower shop at the time. Wu had pleaded not guilty to a count of wounding with intent. The defendant was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of $1,000 for 18 months. Judge Kilgour heard that Mr Yuen's boss Siu Chi-keung scolded Wu for not cleaning the shop on the evening of May 13 last year. Mr Yuen also blamed Wu for not clearing litter in the doorway. Wu left the shop in a rage after a fierce quarrel with Mr Yuen. Fifteen minutes later, Mr Siu's wife saw Wu enter the shop with a bottle in his hand. Wu smashed the bottle over Mr Yuen's head and then fled.
