The hour hand represents the person who wears the watch and the minute hand represents his or her lover. 1ST RUNNER-UP 'SemiWatch' (above) by Chau To-wa. The concept comes from a jade piece cut into two. The two trust and love each other and wish to get back together. When the two parts are separated, they are two watches. When they are connected, they become an alarm clock. 2ND RUNNER-UP 'Love & Forever' (left) by Yuen Wai-sze. The design originates from the Chinese legend of The Butterfly Lovers.
