Shoe wizard Pierre Hardy, the creative mind behind Balenciaga shoes and Hermes jewellery, is renowned for his quirky designs. His new handbag collection, spotted on style icon Maria Luisa Poumaillou during a recent visit to Hong Kong, is likely to top most-wanted lists this autumn. The basic line features two simple styles in various colours and fabrics, including suede, nappa and patent leather. Each bag features contrasting trim in a different colour and/or fabric. To preserve their simplicity, the bags, which follow this season's oversized trend, feature no hardware - only a zipper.
