Wardrobe staple?

I  wear lots of black and white.

Fashion no-nos?

I can't stand exposed g-strings. It's called underwear for a reason.

What do you always wear?

My contact lenses. Otherwise, I'm as blind as a bat.

Favourite shoe designer?

Christian Louboutin. In Paris or New York, his shop beckons me like the Mothership.

Must-have accessory?

Luscious arm candy.  It would either be a mammoth tote or a tiny (utterly useless, but totally adorable) purse.

Handbag pick for the season?

It has to be an Hermes Birkin. It's the handbag pick for all seasons.

Most cherished fashion item?

My collection of watches, ranging from large, masculine styles to tiny, little old-lady ones.  They're serious timepieces, but they also make for fun accessories.

Who'd design your Oscars dress?

Valentino. Need I say more?

Most expensive fashion item?

I can't say, my mum could be reading this.

Flats or stilettos?

Stilettos.

High-end or high street?

High end, wallet allowing.

Fashion disaster?

Wearing different-coloured boots in one go. I was deciding  which colour to wear,  got distracted,  and it was too late to turn back.

Must-have item this season?

This week it's more tubes  of sunscreen.

Favourite trend?

The Dress. It's  a year-round staple   because I never have enough time to mix and match.

Swimwear favourites?

Eres, Pucci and A Starlet is Born.

Favourite shopping destinations?

I love browsing through the boutiques in St Tropez and Knokke. Although the prices tend to be inflated, the  shopping isn't such a rat race. Then  there are  Milan, Paris and New York.

Favourite local designer?

[Jewellery designer] Sandra D'Auriol's creations are lovely.

Ladylike or Boho?

Ladylike to a fault.

Your fashion style?

It's constantly evolving, but generally unfussy and timeless femininity. I also like to keep it fun and never too serious.
