Focus on your personality - looks are superficial

Many university students in Beijing have cosmetic surgery after graduation. They think it will improve their chance of getting a good job.

But just because somebody is beautiful doesn't mean they are the best person for the job, and plastic surgery can have serious side-effects.

If cosmetic surgery continues to be popular, we face a future where everyone is judged on their appearance, not personal characteristics. This would be disastrous.

We should pay attention to our personalities and not our looks.
