There is no shortage of fabulous shoes this season but fashionistas run the risk of being seen in the same footwear a friend is sporting. Fortunately, true shoe connoisseurs can now get their own custom couture pair, courtesy of luxury brand Roger Vivier. For the label's first couture collection, Hello Couture, designer Bruno Frisoni has included a range of handbags and shoes inspired by all things Indian, from the country's elaborate jewels to its exquisite beading and colourful fabrics. Standouts include the Jaipur, a 115mm platform sandal decorated with a ruby-crystal Tiffany-inspired buckle, with the choice of a Monet print (above; HK$75,000) or lurex fabric (HK$60,000). The Bengal'Or pochette (below) features a tiger motif made from gold sequins. Each piece is custom made and orders take up to six weeks. Available at Roger Vivier, The Landmark, Central, tel: 2810 8690.
