Language points 1. We're ready for it If you are ready for something, you are prepared. E.g. If I study for my HKCEE every night from today, I will be ready for it in June. 2. Put up a fight To argue or disagree with someone. The fight is usually a verbal disagreement, rather than a physical fight. Eg. If the teacher gives us any more homework I'm going to put up a fight. 3. Lots of people get tongue-tied If you get tongue-tied, it means that you have difficultly expressing yourself. Some people get tongue-tied when they have to address to large audience, and shy boys sometimes get tongue-tied talking to girls. Eg. He's so cute, I get tongue-tied every time he walks in the room!
