CHINA continued to register fast economic growth last month, with industrial production rising steadily, the State Statistics Bureau said yesterday.
Bureau data shows that industrial production, which had suffered from a relatively low growth rate during the previous four months, rose in November.
Total industrial output reached 310.1 billion yuan (about HK$415.5 billion) in November, up 18.9 per cent on the same month last year.
As production climbed, growth in sales of industrial products also rose last month to hit 96.25 per cent, the highest rate for this year.
According to the bureau, China enjoyed a bustling market in November with total turnover in retail sales of 119.6 billion yuan, 30 per cent higher than for the same month last year.
