Stewards have concluded Shane Dye's life-threatening fall at Sha Tin at the end of last season was accidental.
Stewards had briefly opened their inquiry into the incident on the day of the race and then adjourned another session three days later waiting until Dye was available to appear.
After taking further evidence yesterday from Dye (Ambitious Marju), Eddie Lai Wai-ming (Master Able) and Anthony Delpech (Metro Leader), the panel reported the falls of Dye and Delpech during the race were accidental.
