TEAM Concepts Holdings yesterday reported an 18.5 per cent rise in profit to $18.1 million for the six months ended September 30. Fully diluted earnings per share increased by 15.6 per cent to 8.9 cents from 7.7 cents previously. The company will pay an interim dividend of two cents per share. Turnover for the period rose 18.9 per cent to $336.5 million from $283 million. Team Concepts said sales of its telecommunications products maintained a small growth due to the weak market conditions in Europe and rising competition in other markets. Sales of its electronics products in China were lower than expected as a result of the yuan's depreciation and the austerity programme, it said.
