If you have HK$208,000 burning a hole in your pocket and would like to give yourself a rare and luxurious culinary treat, head to Bangkok later this year. For the second year running, the Dome at State Tower is hosting the Epicurean Masters of the World food and wine experience. The event, which features the finest chefs, food and wines, will be held from November 28 to December 2. Seven Michelin three-star chefs and one two-star chef will bring their talents to bear over the five days.
Epicurean Masters of the World II will take place in the Dome's glamorous restaurants: Sirocco, Distil, Mezzaluna, Cafe Mozu and Breeze. Prices start at 8,900 baht (HK$1,850) per person for a meal during the event, which will conclude with a gala dinner at Mezzaluna on December 2, an experience that will cost a staggering 1 million baht a head. The price includes an overnight stay in a suite at Lebua at State Tower Hotel, a personalised designer jewellery gift, a collection of personalised Riedel Sommelier glasses and a signed commemorative Limoges plate from the event.
