3g services disrupted after switch-box failure Hutchison's 3G mobile phone services were disrupted in many districts yesterday between 11am and noon. The company said it was caused by a failure at a switch box. During the period, many mobile phone users could not dial out on a first attempt, but could do so on the second try. The Office of the Telecommunications Authority said it received 58 complaints. It was the second time in less than three months that the services had been interrupted. The Jockey Club said if a single ticket won the top prize, it would be the second highest payout in Mark Six history.
