Wrinkle cure uses oxygen to relax and lift facial muscles

A new product claims to provide a quick-action remedy for wrinkles.

AgeMed Deep Wrinkle Cure (HK$699) from Biohealth is an 'icy' cream that relaxes and fills in wrinkles. The product contains a 10 per cent concentration of wrinklexyl, which has a micro-transdermal penetration delivery system.

The product releases oxygen into the lower skin layers, which relaxes and lifts facial muscles, effectively remodelling the structure of skin. According to the brand, the product has a botox-like effect as a muscle relaxant and is especially effective in minimising the lines around the eyes, lips, between the brows, and the folds which run between the edge of the nose and the corners of the mouth. Results are said to be visible after seven days.
