A TELEPHONE salesman who raped two sisters after they were beaten up and humiliated by a gang of men was yesterday sentenced to 12 years' jail. Passing sentence on Kwong Kin-hung, 35, Mr Justice Leonard said the sisters, aged 17 and 18, were lured into a Yuen Long flat where they were raped by Kwong. Even though a High Court jury found him guilty of the two rape charges, Kwong gave no indication of remorse, the judge said. Senior Crown Counsel Paul Leung had called evidence that the sisters were lured into the flat by a group of young men on September 8 last year. They were assaulted and each forced to sign an IOU of $54,000. Before Kwong raped the girls, one of the gang told the younger girl that she should work as a prostitute to repay the money, the court heard. Defence counsel Peter Cosgrove said Kwong maintained he was innocent and would make no submission in mitigation.
