Multi-talented starlet Tata Young has been entertaining Thai fans for more than a decade. Now the successful singer/actress/model has released a second English album, Temperature Rising. Temperature Rising features pop/dance songs composed by Paul McCartney, Diane Warren, Natasha Bedingfield and other top names. Alex G, who has worked with Britney Spears and N'Sync, produced many of the tracks. The CD starts off with the meteorologically inspired El Nin-Yo!. It has a strong beat and flamenco flair which make it perfect for the dance floor. The album then continues in a mish-mash of styles. You might find some songs, such as Uh Oh, on a J Lo album, while Betcha Neva has been inspired by Spears. Back Outta This has a funky urban echo of Beyonce. Tata is an excellent singer who can handle a number of music genres, including pop, dance and R&B. But the album lacks a personal touch and gives the feeling that she has borrowed a book from the hit singles library.
