One employment area heating up for outgoing yet business-minded individuals is that of relationship management within the banking and finance sector.
SuperSearch International is working with a top Japanese corporate bank in Hong Kong to recruit a number of relationship managers. Gregarious team players are needed to cover corporate clients in the mainland, offshore and in Japan.
'All candidates should have good product knowledge and an established client network with large corporate and global financial institutions,' said Linda Hla, director of SuperSearch.
Those without a client base will also be considered if they have good marketing skills and knowledge of corporate banking products. Individuals from retail or wholesale banks are also sought. Experience in credit review and loan portfolio management is an advantage.
Only those up to the challenge of promoting newly developed banking products should apply.
The incoming relationship managers will need between three and five years' experience in an international financial institution and have a master's degree in finance, economics or accounting. They will join more than 300 employees in the Hong Kong branch and more than 20,000 staff globally.
