Valley captain and flyhalf Justin Temara scored 15 points, including a try, two conversions and a two penalties, while Breen also got his name on the scoresheet with a late try in the dying minutes.
Kowloon's points came from a penalty by Samson Nonu, brother of All Black Ma'a Nonu. Two Kowloon players were carried off the field with injuries, including hooker Leung Ming-hong. The match also saw the return of former Hong Kong international Chan Fuk-ping, who was returning to First Division action after a break of almost two seasons.
