I was a teenager and could handle it then. Now I am old and when I walk up a slope, I breathe heavily. Now there is an elevator linking Central and the Mid-Levels, it is much more convenient.'

June 8 'At secondary school, my classmates had romantic novels and I also read them. I wasn't pretty and I thought I might not find a prince. At university, I dated an older boy. I was so happy. But he treated me as a young girl and said sweet things. I couldn't stand it. A blink of the eyes, and my puppy love era has passed. Now I am no longer a wild kid, but a mother of three living a retiree's life.'
